Prevent costly feed spillage and auger wear

A broken feed line or drop tube, an overturned hopper or other damage to the filling system can cause costly feed spillage and auger wear. Our sensors' maximum run time function helps prevent feed spillage by limiting how long feed and filling system motors can run.

No additional equipment needed

All dol-sensors capacitive sensors with NFC (iDOL sensors) have a built-in option to use a Max Run Timer. Conventional sensors on the market do not have a built-in Max Run Timer, so you would need a separate timer device.

Setting the Max Run Timer

With the SmartAdjust app on your smartphone, you can set iDOL sensors for an on-delay, off-delay and Max Run Timer simultaneously. The Max Run Timer can be set to a maximum operating time of 0 to 7200 seconds.

Sensors with a Max Run Timer are positioned as sensors that call for feed or other materials, such as pellets. For example, they may be the last sensor in a feed line or the top sensor in a hopper.

Once the Max Run Timer has been triggered, it can be reset by disconnecting the sensor.

Works with most feeding systems
