DOL 45 Capacitive Relay Sensor

The DOL 45 sensor is designed for general detection of feed, grain and solid materials

The capacitive sensor is typically used as an empty, full and level indicator in tanks, silos and containers. DOL 45's powerful built-in relay can directly control many functions. DOL 45 LEDs show when its switches are activated. The sensor has NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) outputs. All settings can be easily changed at any time.

Improved usability

The sensor features several special functions that improve usability:

• Reset the sensor to factory settings
• Reading the configured time delay
• Disable the delay
• Switch LED indicators on/off

DOL 45 has a built-in high-power 5A relay with a changeover function. It is available in two voltage variants: 10–30 V AC/DC or 90–250 V AC

Highly reliable sensor

Electronic rather than mechanical switches provide exceptional reliability, particularly because the electronics are fully enclosed in a special plastic. This gives maximum protection against moisture and other external influences in harsh environments.

The sensor is CE, UL and C-UL certified and highly resistant to interference from electrical communication, such as mobile phones, and transients, such as those from motors and contactors. This makes the sensors highly reliable.

Multiple mounting options

DOL 45 is easily mounted in a plastic gland, also available as a flanged solution for easy external mounting. A threaded version provides further mounting options.

DOL 45 can be installed inside a feeder or through an opening in a feeder, hopper or silo using the supplied plastic gland.

With the specially designed T-piece, DOL 45 can be installed on a 40-60 mm conveying-system pipe using only the T-piece and three cable ties. With this mounting option, DOL 45 remains adjustable after installation, unlike conventional sensors on the market, because the DOL 45 controls are located at the cable end.
