The DOL 58 Weather Sensor measures wind direction, wind speed, atmospheric pressure and air temperature. Access to accurate, current local weather data allows differentiated curtain opening in an automated ventilation system. This ensures optimal ventilation and a consistent temperature throughout the house, creating an optimal livestock environment and supporting animal welfare for more profitable production.

DOL 58 is built for harsh conditions with extremely low and high temperatures, high wind speeds, changing wind directions and strong gusts. Wind speed and direction are measured using ultrasound, so the sensor has no moving parts. This makes DOL 58 extremely reliable, with an exceptionally long service life.

DOL 58 includes:
